Great first strip. I got a kick outta the Charlie Daniels reference.
Thanks.
Just found this. As a devout devoted Christian I have to say. I LOVE IT!!!!
Glad to have you here. Hope you keep enjoying.
The devil went down to Georgia, he was lookin fer a soul to steal… He was outa time and way behind and was lookin ta make a deal.
I found y’all via a link from Girl Genius and I’m so glad I followed it… this is a hoot!! The only downside is now I have 2 Web comics I absolutely HAVE TO check out 3x/ week… thanks, guys, the Imps rock!
Hey momcat09… we’re happy to have you and happy to be on your MUST list.
“G”: It sounds like Mr. D. is feeling a bit bad. Considering he loses but rarely, maybe he should just take in a cloudy day, and let it go.
I came to this site because of an ad on “Scenes From A Multiverse”. After viewing DeusEx01, and then reading it is a new story arc, I clicked previous. Getting History36, I finally got the idea, and clicked archives. Considering the choices, I selected Prologue”, and here I am.
Great beginning!
The first sentence in a book is supposed to ‘grab’ the reader’s attention. This strip is an excellent ‘grab’! Now, all I have to do is read everything else!
Thats an okay beginning. Its not bad, but not good.
Hey, my cousin-in-law found your link thanks to her following my Capes & babes strip which led her to 1977 the Comic which led her to THIS comic. So she recommended I check it out. Glad she recommended it.
Also, wanted to mention… if you haven’t already, you should check out Steven Lynch’s song, Beelz (My Name is Satan) song. It’s got a pretty funny Georgia fiddle reference too!
Awesome Charlie Daniels Band reference!
Lmfao yessss I love this comic already and I just started reading XD I love “Devil Went Down to Georgia”
HAHA the devil went down to georgia. Let’s see where this goes
Enjoying it already
One thing I must say about comics, in general, is that they are ageless. They still appeal to me as much today, as they did decades ago.
Such a great example of how inspiring comics can become to other artists.
They never get outdated these comics references!
…Start Over!
