Clearly this strip is a homage to Adam West’s Batman. While I’m much more a fan of the dark and grim Batman, I can’t help but enjoy the irony that it was this, and things like the Bat-oosie that kept the franchise alive and well.
On a completely unrelated note, if you’re reading this, you should go check out the web-comic by our incredibly talented colorist Tracy, ably assisted by her fella. Well? What are you waiting for? Check out Catena NOW! They work their strip to make you happy. Think of it as a cleansing sorbet after the evil high-jinx of our Imps.
And while we’re linking, if you haven’t found it yet, check out the Imp’s Facebook page.
You mean TV magic…. no they wouldn’t do a thing like that. That went out of use back in the 50s.
Secret of the comic strip business… tell no one. When he drew this strip, Courtney turned his entire drawing-table 90 degrees and lay beside it to draw this strip with one hundred percent authenticity. It’s the magic of comic strips.
aaadaam weeest, aaadam weeest–a little bit softer now…–aaadam weeest, aaadam weeeest, aadam weeest…! i’ll come out when they’re all gone…
Did we just invade Family Guy or did they invade us?
Favoriet Adam West quote= Perhaps it was the Noid who should have avoided me u_u
LOL XD
Um… Can’t imps just “teleport”, or something? Why talk about ropes and doors?
Maybe they are under Luci’s control, because she opened the bottle. We shall see…
Catena is cool, too! Thank you for the link. I like kitties, and I like weirdness, and Catena has both.
I very much like the ways pains teeth look in the first panel.
