12 Daemons of Christmas#1

If Andy Williams had been an Imp, I am sure the lyrics woulda been different.

All the misfortune and pain and tears that happen during the holidays.. I think the imps will be busy ;3

  2. Byakugan01

Remind me when it’s 9 strips before christmas. I have a gig to think up.

    @ Dale
I think you forgot to add….
My wife to kill, and blame Florin for it. You know I am swamped.

All kidding aside, That last frame has some incredibly indescribable Faces.
I fell out of my chair laughing before I even read the comic.

On a side note….I am getting closer Kiriel. 😉

Don’t forget the unnecessary pop covers of Jingle Bells in the “sounds” section. I HATE them.

  5. Darkwasteland

Well dose this mean we’re going to get to meet winters favorite imp, “Erosion ?”

  6. Dan Genesis

Don’t forget all the present shopping madness, there, Alisdair.

    Wait… madness…. That’s my department, ain’t it?

  7. Ragedoll

Alisdair’s face is priceless! I love it! I’m surprised tears isn’t happier! Shattered ornaments to cut people’s feet, paper cuts while wrapping gifts, getting trampled at the door on boxing day.

Although I would have to say Christmas must be Karma’s favourite holiday, everyone get’s theirs. Except those like politicians and millionaires… obviously can’t afflict those who made deals with Mr. D.

@the bonus comic. Soo funny, if I didn’t know better I would say that Pain is a feminist! :p

You know – I’m surprised Alisdair hasn’t had to change his bandaid this whole time – one would think it would get old and icky and fall off. [He would, of course, keep it until it fell off]. However, I am so waiting for him to have to go looking for a new bandaid and the only ones he can find in the house are Barbie bandaids – or something else similarly decorative and girly.

And yes – my entire post had nothing to do with today’s comic or the bonus comic. 😀

Ithink Misfortunes Bandaid should be Emotive and change with MIsfortunes feelings along with the seasons spring would being more pratcical jokes pretty much harmless summer some mean spirited jokes that maybe cause harm fall would bring just mean things things and winter would bring the embittered old man in misfortune out where here he just becomes vandictive and take all his frustaions from the past year out on christmas carollers

  10. Ouroboros

Never have I seen evil so happy…

Except for maybe that one time with the donuts…those twisted, tasty, donuts…

  11. DktrAgonizer

Oh god, his expression in that last panel. WHY DOES IT EXIST. D8

  12. jjmblue7

@LydaLynn: I saw an old man with Diego band-aids a few days ago. My first thought was “Someone takes care of the grandkids alot!”

  13. jjmblue7

I think maybe Tears’ tears will freeze to his face this winter?

  14. jjmblue7

@bonus: Well, at least Pain’s big hit never really gets stale…with the exception of a certain tv show which was 90% groin injuries.

  15. Kiriel

I JUST realized the 3 imps remind me of pokemon.. the starters of each gen to eb exact.. if you think about it.. they always have a green blue and red one.. xD I now wanna know what the imps in pokemon form’d look like ;3

  16. jjmblue7

@Kiriel: Tears totally fits the water type! But many trios go by the Red/Blue/Green color scheme, lie the goddesses Din (Red/Power), Nayru (Blue/Wisdom), and Farore 9Green/Courage) from the Legend of Zelda. Oops my nerd is showing!

I imagine that Alisdair’s initial reaction to Christmas was much like that of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Anyone remember the song, “What’s This?” x3
