I’m sure it was an accident.
A 94 mph fastball mistake.
The kid probably won’t even remember being beaned…. probably won’t remember much of the game…. possibly won’t remember the last couple of months.
But really, ask yourself, who did this REALLY hurt? In the grand scheme of things.
….
OK, so the kid in the outfield, but come on. This is SERIOUS stuff here.

Man, that really is the slowest moving ball ever.
Alisdair has a great pitching arm, clearly.
So, I was right after all. The kid DID get hit in the face with the ball – just not the way I had envisioned it.
I hope Alisdair set a proper example and made sure no one was looking first.
y’know, it actually looks like the ball move backwards in the seconed panel…that IS a slow ball!
Well, I certainly told you that this ball moves slower than a turtle swimming in glue. Someday, everyone will realize I’m right about everything. EVERYTHING.
(Pay no attention to my prediction that Luci would go out. That was, y’know. A test or something.)
“Wha…?” – This isn’t over yet…
If Luci saw that, she will not be pleased.
@jjmblue7 Hm… Judging by the last panel, I don’t think he took that little precaution.
I don’t think the ball, the one Luci hit, is moving slow as much as the other one is moving extremely fast.
I do not think Misfortune would be that sloppy.
I keep forgetting he has a tail…and a beak. His model “seemed” to change a lot-for the better I think. Hmmm…Back to the game! Who’s on first?
YES!! i freakin called it man
Well . . . that’s one way to win a game . . .
haha go team Imps!
