I actually have depression, and when I'm stuck in a low cheery people make me want to throttle them. It's almost insulting, yes yes you get to experience all the beauty of life while my brain screws me over. How wonderful for you. Personal experience time! Last time things got bad and I called a suicide hotline, I'm fairly certain I got Ixtab. The lady was very calm, didn't patronize me, asked me if this was what I wanted to do, and then told me "Warm water, and cut up not across." I ended up not doing it because of her.
