It always comes down to the rules.
Eeesh… you want rules? Go play chess guys.
Much less attrition on the human race.
Gotta love those loopholes…like the fact that Luci isn’t the Chosen One…
I’m rather curious how they are going to break the technicalities.
Seems like the Imps might need to call in one of their lawyer acquaintances.
I wonder if those rules say anything about the Chosen One needing to go down the destructive road without extra influence? ‘Cause that grouchy fuzzball definitely counts as extra influence.
I can’t say if the “religious cosmology” here in the comic is really all that similar to the cosmology I’ve been hearing about in this world, but guess what? If the similarity is close, then Mr. G *created* all of His own angels & Mr. D is still one of those angels, albeit a Fallen Angel.
So where do those rules come from in the first place? “They’re MY rules anyway, Me Dammit!”
Even if Mr. G made those rules, He’s still going to go to great lengths to abide by those rules Himself, since He had a reason for certain rules right from the Beginning of Everything.
Why do I have a feeling that Alistair is trying to get the rules ‘stated’ so he can find loopholes?
