That’s right, we’ve made a digital book.
A collection of the first year’s strips in full color. Of course, you know us, we wouldn’t just give you the same old stuff, so in addition you’ll find the thing is cram-packed with extra evil goodness (that’s an oxymoron… but you know what we mean).

In addition to the obvious inclusion of ALL the regular Luci Phurr’s Imps strips for 2010, you’ll get a bumper collection of Bonus Comics that came and went – so if you missed one or arrived late to the strips and just saw people commenting on one, now is your chance to see the Best of the Bonus Comics.
Add to that the full set of WEEKENDER comics we did, where the Imps invade the strips such as Peanuts, Doonesbury and Dilbert (plus many more) and you have some serious fun.
But don’t think we’re just giving you stuff you might already have seen. At the back of the PDF there’s a collection of concept sketches done by Courtney as well as some early incarnations of the strips… you can see how these played out and compare them to what we actually did.
However, best of all you get a NEVER BEFORE SEEN, fully illustrated (by the LPI Art Team) short story, written by Dale, that is the real origin of Luci Phurr’s Imps. If you ever wondered what Lou C. Phurr did that resulted in his daughter gaining three improbable friends, you can find out EXCLUSIVELY in that story. And it’s only available in the new LUCI PHURR’S IMPS DIGITAL BOOK.

Has “coming soon” been defined yet?
“Coming soon” is in the process of being defined. Actually, the book is more than halfway done, and we’re trying to get it released this year. It’s all these EXTRAS that we’re throwing in the book, that’s taking so long. We’ll have more updates soon.
An update!
The guest foreword is currently being polished for the book. Can’t reveal the identity just yet, but it’s someone who knows a lot about this stuff.

Proofs came in for the book. WOW! Not only is it looking amazing, it is cram-packed full of goodness. A full collection of strips are just a part of the thing. So many extras. To give you an idea, the regular strips only account for about a third of the page count.

i would love to see a game!
I’m actually planning to get this – of all the online comics I read – this might be the only one I’ll spend real world money on. That says something about how much I love this comic – even if I’m not sure what it’s saying in that regard.
@Tegger – You have no idea how much we had to do to get the book sorted… a game may take a touch longer.
@LydaLynn – Both Courtney and myself are robust manly men, rugged and stalwart, in the mold of Gary Cooper… yet comments like that make us really happy. They result in a tight smile, a slight nod and a small, selfconscious glance at the ground between our feet. Well, for me anyway, Courtney tends to blush, then giggle like a school girl.
@Dale – I’m glad I could share some of the happy you both give me on a regular basis. Particularly if it results in giggles.

Any chance the book will make it for the winter holiday or are the summer ones more realistic?
@Infectious Midnight: The book is 95% done and almost ready for the printer. We don’t have an exact release date yet, but it will be before Summer. Before Spring even. We will keep you guys posted. Promise.

You should see Courtney’s routine at the Comedy Improv Store just across the street from the Sulfur Lakes in the Six Circle. Every other Wednesday and twice on Sundays. Try the Veal and don’t forget to NOT tip your waitress (the wait-staff are there for spending their lives above ground not tipping… Hell also handles some of the Universe’s Karma Quota).
