Yes, Mrs. D’s motives might be a little less than altruistic, but in the greater scheme of things, if it helps the greater good, is that a bad thing?

And from Mrs. D’s perspective, helping the greater good might well get them back in at the main table…. or at least allow them to do greater evil.
